Locust Grove Women's Club
The Locust Grove Women's Club (LGWC) was founded in 2005. Our purpose is to create sociability, promote cultural interests, and serve philanthropically. The goals of the LGWC are to provide a forum to create cohesiveness within the community through the exchange of creative thoughts and abilities; to serve not only the Locust Grove community but also the Purcellville community by being good neighbors and showing our pride in our neighborhood and town; and to raise the identity and value of Locust Grove in the Town of Purcellville. Membership in LGWC is open to all women (ages 21 and over).
The LGWC hosts an event every month, such as a Fall Mixer and Halloween party, coordinated by our Events Coordinator. In addition, the club helps with community projects throughout the year (i.e. The Town of Purcellville's Christmas Event to Remember). We also have exciting activity groups that have formed within the club based on the special interests of our members. Some of these include fitness, book, cuisine, garden, and craft clubs. Perhaps you have a gift or a talent that you would like to share? We are always open to new ideas.
If you are interested in learning more about the Club, would like to get information on how to join, or would like to know the date of our next meeting, please contact our Vice President of Membership by e-mail at WCvpmemb@locust-grove.com.
The new "LGWC Members Only" website can only be accessed by Locust Grove Women's Club Members and requires a username and password. Here you will find community forums, calendar of upcoming events, news, and any other information members wish to share. Click on the link below to download a membership application (.pdf format):
